This easy recipe delivers irresistibly chewy Oreo blondies in no time. Think of them as a classic brownie’s vanilla-flavored cousin. All the fudgy texture, but without the chocolate in the batter.

Oreo Lovers, This Blondie Is for You

Transform plain blondies into Oreo-loaded treats and a dose of gooey white chocolate chips mixed in for good measure!

These Oreo blondies are chewy and fudgy, with a rich chocolate cookie crunch. Their elevated decadence allows for smaller-sized portions too.

Recipe Ingredients

This Oreo blondies recipe uses my base blondie recipe with the addition of Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips. Make sure to read the recipe card below for full details:

  • sugar – light brown caster sugar adds to the fudginess of the blondies, but you can also use white sugar
  • unsalted butter – I prefer unsalted butter when baking
  • eggs – always use medium unless otherwise stated in the recipe card
  • vanilla extract – use homemade extract for the best depth of flavor
  • flour –
  • pinch of salt – enhances flavors
  • flour – I use all purpose flour, but you could also use regular or pastry flour
  • Oreo cookies – roughly chopped and mixed into the blondie batter for irresistible crunch and cookie flavor
  • white chocolate chips – white chocolate works well in blondies, but you could also use milk chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips
  • Oreo cookie crumbs – sprinkled over the top just before baking

BAKING TIP: Bake these blondies in a square pan lined with parchment paper, with the paper extending well over two sides. This way it’s easy to lift it out once cooled down.

How To Make Oreo Blondies

Use my base blondies recipe to make the blondie batter, then fold in the chopped Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Spread evenly with a spatula. Sprinkle Oreo crumbs over the top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top forms a thin, crisp crust while the center may still be slightly wobbly. Cool completely in the pan and then slice to serve.

BAKING TIP: The shorter you bake these blondies, the moister they will be. Always let the blondies cool completely and set before slicing.

Storing Oreo Blondies

Store these blondies in an airtight container for up to 4-5 days outside the fridge.

Can I freeze Oreo blondies?

Yes, they freeze well for up to 3 months. I like to wrap individual blondie squares in plastic wrap so that I can defrost the exact number of blondies at any given time.

More Oreo-Inspired Treats

Incorporating Oreos into recipes is an easy way to give a boost of rich chocolate flavor, which is why I use them in numerous treats, such as cookies, cupcakes, cheesecakes, and other sweet treats.

FAQ Oreo Blondies

How do I know if the Oreo blondies are done?

It’s normal for your blondies to appear slightly undercooked by the time they are ready to come out of the oven. If you leave them for longer, they risk drying out. Just like with brownies and bars, you will see a thin, crispy layer on top of the blondies. The sides feel firm and the inside is still a bit softer (but it shouldn’t be overly wobbly).

It is important to let the blondies cool completely in the pan and preferably leave them overnight (covered) in a relatively cool place so that they firm up properly. That is when the blondies taste their best.

What else can I add to these Oreo blondies?

Other tasty add-ins you can mix into the Oreo blondie batter for extra flavor and texture could include chopped nuts (macadamia nuts or pecans) or caramel bits.

You could also melt white chocolate in a double boiler and drizzle it over the cooled blondies as a delicious topping!

Can I use different cookies?

Absolutely! If you don’t want to use Oreos, but still desire that rich chocolate flavor and cookie crunch, consider using a different chocolate cookie (homemade or store-bought). Golden Oreos are ideal if you want to stick to a vanilla-flavored Oreo blondie recipe.

What baking pan works best for blondies?

I usually make my blondies in a square 20 x 20 cm (8×8-inch) baking pan. If you have a different baking pan in mind, you can use the ‘convert recipe’ button in the recipe card. Enter the size of the baking pan of the current recipe and the size of the baking pan you have in mind. The tool will then calculate how much of the ingredients you need. If you use a much larger baking pan (or a much smaller one), please keep in mind that the baking time will change. This is something you need to monitor carefully yourself.

Oreo Blondies

I tested several different versions of Oreo Blondies before landing on this recipe. The result is, without a doubt, the best and most delicious version I tried.

  • 350 g light brown sugar
  • 225 g unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 275 g all-purpose flour

  • 100 g white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Once melted, pour it into a mixing bowl.
  • Add the brown sugar and mix until combined.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix on low speed until fully incorporated.
  • Add the flour and salt and mix gently until no dry flour remains.
  • Fold in the chopped Oreos and white chocolate.
  • Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with parchment paper and spread it evenly.
  • Sprinkle a few extra Oreo pieces over the top.
