Stuffed Mushrooms with Goat Cheese and Bacon

These goat cheese and bacon stuffed mushrooms are the ultimate party appetizer or snack. Creamy, savory bites for all the goat cheese lovers!

Ingredients 

  • 6 large white mushrooms
  • 100 grams soft goat cheese
  • 6 slices bacon

Equipment

Instructions

  • Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. If needed, scoop out the caps slightly so you can fit more goat cheese inside.
  • Generously fill each mushroom cap with the soft goat cheese and wrap a slice of bacon around each one. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil and place the stuffed mushrooms inside. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F/180°C (conventional oven).
  • Best served warm, so enjoy right away!
Tips
You can save the mushroom stems and use them in a dinner dish the next day. They’re not needed for this recipe.
How to store
I haven’t tested storing the baked mushrooms and reheating them the next day. However, you can prepare the filling in advance and stuff the mushrooms the next day before baking, so you can serve them fresh out of the oven.
