Servings: 21 cookies

Ingredients

  • 225 grams unsalted butter
  • 150 grams light brown sugar
  • 8 grams vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 280 grams all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 30 grams almonds chopped
  • 100 grams Toblerone 1 bar, chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

  • Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg yolk and mix well.
  • Add the flour and salt and mix until combined. Then add the almonds, Toblerone, honey, and cocoa powder and mix until you have a firm dough.
  • Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Roll the cookie dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet. If the dough is still nice and cold, you can bake them right away; otherwise, let them firm up a bit more in the fridge.
  • Bake the cookies for 16 minutes at 190°C (375°F) using a conventional oven, until the edges start to turn golden. Let the cookies cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • A little patience while they cool, but after that, it’s time to enjoy!
How to store
You can store the cookies in a cookie jar for up to 4-6 weeks. Freezing is also an option. You can store them in the freezer for up to three months.
