Chocolate Easter Egg Nests

These sweet little chocolate Easter egg nests are perfect for Easter and come together in no time. And don’t they look absolutely adorable?
Preparation10 minutes

Total15 minutes
Servings: 24 pieces

Ingredients

  • 200 grams milk chocolate
  • 60 grams unsalted butter
  • Small dragée eggs or any Easter eggs you like

Equipment

  • Piping tip wilton #233 optional

Instructions

  • Melt the milk chocolate and let it cool slightly.
  • Beat the butter until light and creamy, then add the melted chocolate.
  • Beat until smooth and transfer the chocolate mixture to a piping bag. I used Wilton piping tip #233 to create the nests.
  • Pipe nests about 1½-2 inches (4-5 cm) in diameter and fill them with a few small dragée eggs or one larger egg.
Tips
Don’t have a piping tip with multiple holes? No problem. You can simply snip a small tip off your piping bag. It will just take a little longer to pipe each nest.
How to store
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator), they can be kept for at least 4 weeks. I don’t recommend freezing them, as moisture and condensation can affect the chocolate.
