Chocolate Covered Marzipan Clusters

Love marzipan covered in chocolate? Then I'm sure you'll love these Marzipan Clusters. I can't get enough of them!
Preparation20 minutes
Total20 minutes
Servings: 15 clusters

Ingredients

  • 300 g milk chocolate
  • 200 g marzipan I used marzipan potatoes, but any shape of marzipan will work

Instructions

  • Roll the marzipan into small balls. I divided each marzipan potato into 6 smaller pieces.
  • If you're using a large block of marzipan, break or roll it into pieces about the size of a peanut.
  • Melt two-thirds of the chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of gently simmering water (double boiler method). Once fully melted, remove the bowl from the heat and add the remaining chocolate. Stir until all the chocolate has melted.
  • Add the marzipan pieces to the melted chocolate and gently fold until evenly coated.
  • Using a spoon, drop clusters onto a sheet of parchment paper.
  • Let the chocolate set completely before serving.
Tips
I think milk chocolate tastes best in these clusters, but you can easily use dark chocolate, white chocolate, or a combination of different chocolates.
How to store
Store in an airtight container for at least 3 weeks.
