Caramelized Apples Recipe

With this easy recipe for caramelized apples, you can make any dessert or breakfast even more delicious. Beware: it’s dangerously addictive.

Ingredients 

  • 3 apples peeled and cored
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 25 grams butter

Instructions

  • Cut the peeled apples into evenly sized cubes. This ensures they cook evenly.
  • Toss the apple cubes with the cinnamon and sugar.
  • Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Once melted, add the apples. Cook for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • When the apples are coated in a nice caramel layer, they’re ready.
Tips
Serve warm, but be careful when tasting straight from the pan, it’s very hot.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the microwave or in a skillet before serving.
