Chocolate Chip Blondies

Easy to make and so tasty are these chocolate chip blondies. Use your favorite chocolate to make them!

Ingredients 

  • 225 grams unsalted butter
  • 350 grams light brown sugar
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 275 grams all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 150 grams chocolate chips
  • Extra chocolate chips for topping

Equipment

  • 8 x 8 inch (20 x 20 cm) square pan

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan, then transfer to a stand mixer bowl with the sugar. Mix until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing in between.
  • Mix in the vanilla. Then add flour and salt and mix until fully combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula. Spread the batter evenly in a parchment-lined pan.
  • Sprinkle some extra chocolate chips on top.
  • Bake at 400°F/200°C (conventional oven) for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown. The top should be crisp, and the center should feel set but still soft.
  • Allow to cool completely and firm up before slicing.
How to store
In an airtight container: up to 1 week at room temperature. In the freezer: up to 3 months.
